That old journal was kind of outdated. August 5th??? Waaaay old. So I'm writing a new one.

School's been really tough; I'm in AP calculus and AP history. Both those classes take a TON of time away from me that I would normally use drawing, hanging out with friends, having a life, etc. As a consequence, I've not been paying much attention to dA. Which explains that three month old journal.

Right now I'm doing decently in school, at mid-semester, but that doesn't mean that it's been easy, or that the grades will stay where they are. I've made my fair share of mistakes, too (like the time I decided to solve for x when 2 = 0... math fail! )

Anyways, back to the near-present, near-past, whatever you want to call it. On Wednesday we had off for Veteran's Day. Fearn (that's my twin, fearnandfire) had to go to the dentist that day, so I got up early and drove into the city with her in hopes of getting some studying done. I walked the eight blocks to the library, and was getting pretty bored and cold when I got there. Of course, since it was Veteran's Day, the library was closed. I'm brilliant, no?

That day seemed off to a really, really bad start, but it did get better. My parents decided that, since I only had a half ton of homework, as opposed to the customary ton, we should go to the zoo! We had a lot of fun. The snow leopards at our zoo just had cubs, (I drew one of them ) and they were playing and rough-housing and being really cute overall. I might post some of the pictures we got of them, if I have time, they were pretty awesome.

I hope to draw some more pictures while working on studying chapters for history, like I usually do, so I might have something to put up soon. Don't assume I'm dead and quit watching!
